My Fiancée

In a farmhouse deep in the Northeast Kindgom of Vermont (I'm serious, they call it the Northeast Kingdom!) lives my fiancée. Her daily routine consists of everything from harvesting eggs and feeding llamas to Bible studies and one-on-one counseling and discipleship. Quite the diversification, I'd say.

As of today, the third of January, 2003, we've been dating for a little over 1 1/3 years. Well, I don't know if you still call it dating, since on December 22nd I asked this amazing girl to marry me--and she gave me the welcomed reply of "yes!"

We have quite the times together, doing things like Vermont-to-Minnesota road trips in my 13 year old Olds or smearing pumpkin all over each other's faces (sorry, but it's almost impossible to see in this picture).

We even hang out with some other people every once in a while, in spite of all Chris's unusual pasttimes (who ever heard of a Halloween gingerbread house?).

We usually only get to see each other once a week, which really stinks. I'll use that as my excuse for why I haven't put up a web page sooner (not enough pictures!), but that's something I'm hoping to change by getting married. The thought of being able to spend every day with Sarah makes me wonder if we could move the date up a little...say tomorrow?
As with every relationship, things aren't always sunny and bright. However, in spite of our differences we are still great friends. We even try to ignore each other's football allegiances as much as possible, though it makes absolutely no sense to me why someone would want to be a Packers fan...
So barring a Vikings/Packers dispute (difficult, since the Vikes are out of the playoffs already) or a bad wedding planning disagreement (something we are taking huge precautions to avoid), we will be married on June 28th, 2003!

Happy Day!
