Sarah and Beth ran the 5k, Titus and Asher each ran a race with their age groups.<\/p>\n

Asher’s race went something like this:\u00a0 At the word “Go!”, Asher slowly shuffled his feet around the 200 meter track.\u00a0 A couple minutes later, Titus, Zeke, and I found Asher still shuffling along at the 100 meter mark.\u00a0 I grabbed Asher’s hand, and we all had a great sprint back to the finish line!<\/p>\n

Titus’ race went something like this: At the word “Go!”, Titus leapt off the line with a snarl.\u00a0 At his halfway point he wasn’t snarling anymore, and by the time he crossed the finish line he told Sarah, “I thought I was going to win.\u00a0 Some other children won.\u00a0 But I wasn’t last!\u00a0 That’s good Mommy!”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
