It’s kinda puzzling to me that we haven’t had the baby yet, considering the number of times per day that people express surprise that Sarah’s still pregnant! At church this morning, I was half tempted to tape a sign that said “1 1\/2 weeks left<\/strong>” to my wife, but it was fun to have so many people approach us (her) about it anyways.<\/p>\n

In lieu of baby news, I’ve got a couple of interesting little stories to tell from the past week. The first is from my mom and her kindergarteners:<\/p>\n

On Friday, a student said, “Mrs. Fredman, you said you would tell us where you went that day you were gone, and you forgot to do that.” I told them that I went to your place to paint and I went to my Grandbaby’s shower. One of the boys said, “You don’t give babies showers. That’s not how you get them clean. My mom put me in the sink and gave me a bath. That’s how you get babies clean, not in a shower.”<\/em><\/p>\n

My second story (and I wish I had a picture of this one), is from Saturday. Since Sarah stopped working at TSA, she has a big “before-the-baby-comes” list that she is trying to get done. One of those items was to plant flowers in the pots in front of our house. Since it doesn’t work so well for her to bend over anymore, we worked out a system. She would sit on a little hill, legs sprawled out in front of her, and I would bring her: a) a pot full of dirt, b) flowers, and c) spare dirt. Then Sarah would put them all together for me to place in front of the house!<\/p>\n

Like I said, that would have been a priceless picture, and I’m pretty sure I could’ve snapped a shot before she got up! Oh well…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
