Well, it seems that a decision has been made!\u00a0 I did a “test” with Asher when he got home yesterday and put him in the crib to see what he would do.\u00a0 Of course he immediately tried to get out…both by putting his leg up and over and by hoisting his tummy over the bar and swinging his body to get momentum to go head first…yikes!\u00a0 Needless to say, it was time to be done with the crib.\u00a0 So, we took the matrress and laid it on the floor (until I’m more confident he won’t roll off the bed onto the hard wood floors).\u00a0 He did GREAT!!\u00a0 He woke up once having rolled off the mattress and we found him standing in the middle of his room, quite bewildered.\u00a0 Then he made it until 7 this morning, which is pretty good for my kids =)\u00a0 Anyhow, even though the “dome” suggestion didn’t pan out, we do have a plan and it’s kind of strange to think of taking this “big boy” step with my little boy!<\/p>\n
