{"id":765,"date":"2010-03-23T21:33:43","date_gmt":"2010-03-24T02:33:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/fredman.org\/blog\/?p=765"},"modified":"2010-03-24T07:56:04","modified_gmt":"2010-03-24T12:56:04","slug":"i-wahn-it","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fredman.org\/blog\/2010\/03\/23\/i-wahn-it","title":{"rendered":"I WAHN it!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I really wanted to do a phonetic posting of some of my favorite Asher words, but he\u2019s at the stage where a word may come out differently every time he says it.\u00a0 Since he\u2019s becoming more brave with his words, I\u2019ve had a lot of fun asking him to repeat things like \u201cvegetables\u201d (he manages some 3-syllable response every time).\u00a0 Here are some other fun phrases he uses:<\/p>\n<p>*********<\/p>\n<p>Asher still says \u201coowie\u201d when he\u2019s hurt or inconvenienced, but since  we\u2019re trying to separate pain from irritation, he tends to follow it up  with \u201churr\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Asher: Oowie!<\/p>\n<p>Andy: Does it hurt?\u00a0 What hurts?<\/p>\n<p>Asher: Hurr. (sadly, as he points to a tag that\u2019s hanging off of a  new shirt)<\/p>\n<p>*********<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI WAHN it\u201d and \u201cI NEEE it\u201d are two phrases that he uses a lot.<\/p>\n<p>Asher (upon seeing a big yellow snow plow in the parking lot yesterday): Tractor!<\/p>\n<p>Andy: Yeah, that\u2019s a tractor snow plow.<\/p>\n<p>Asher: I WAHN it!<\/p>\n<p>Asher does <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"> not<\/span> like to ride in the stroller when Titus gets to ride his bike.\u00a0 He gets rolled out of the porch screaming, \u201cmy tike! my tike!
