I was painting the basement when I heard Sarah and Titus walking down the stairs. After a painful minute of listening to Titus descend without touching the walls, he finally made it to the bottom and told me, “Daddy, I didn’t touch the paint and die.”
Sure, it would be frustrating for me to go back and fix hand prints on the walls, but I think one of us was a little too firm about the consequences of touching wet paint!
