It’s getting more and more difficult to put together galleries based on certain types of activities, now that Titus is so active. Actually, I probably have a disproportionate number of eating pictures, but you can only look at smashed carrots being eaten by a 1-year old so many times…
So here’s a few pictures from July, including play, work, and of course some food pictures as well!
That’s right, there are three new picture galleries up and ready for viewing.
The first includes sorted pictures from the month of June (or thereabouts). It has many winning smiles, some food pictures, sock pictures, car pictures (Titus’ favorite sport is car watching), and one grumpy picture (c’mon, I have to offset the happy ones with a little glimpse of realism, so you don’t think we have it too easy!).
The second gallery is especially for Auntie Amy, but any soon-to-be-high school senior can feel free to take notes, and the rest of you might get a kick out of it. One afternoon, Sarah & Titus decided to take some quick pictures to give Amy some ideas for her upcoming Senior pictures. If I say so myself, that picture next to the slide will be hard to top!
The last gallery includes some pictures of Titus in his favorite place–the water. Whether it’s on the beach or in his pool in the backyard, things are much better when the little guy is soaking wet. Plus sand is quite tasty as well!
Titus is one year old, and much has changed in the past year. I mean, just one year ago I could sleep till 9 or 10 am on Saturday mornings, and now I’m lucky if I make it all the way till 7!
Oh yeah, we were talking about Titus…
It’s been a lot of fun watching Titus become more and more of a little person with his own personality. You never know what he’s going to learn to do next, but you certainly know how he’s going to do it–full speed and yelling at the top of his lungs!
Titus is now our little dust buster. He will eat anything and everything small enough to fit in his mouth if it isn’t nailed down. Then again, he did manage to get some sheetrock off the wall where we don’t have baseboards up yet, so I guess it doesn’t matter if it’s nailed down or not!
If you don’t believe me, out of the 3 new videos I put up, two of them include some sort of pursuit of food (either by distraction, or by relentless pursuit)!
Titus’ new favorite punctuation is the question mark. He walks around the house, loudly proclaiming the words “Wha?”, “Da?”, and “Ba?”, with a big rising intonation at the end of each word. It’s kinda funny to sit there and listen to him because you almost want to answer, “That’s a book!”, or “That’s a chair!” whenever he asks. Of course, he seldom gives you any time to actually answer him.
Sarah and I were talking about this, and she wondered if maybe he’s trying to copy what he hears. It seems that the bulk of her talking throughout the day is made up of questions to Titus, so he probably thinks that everything should end on a upswing!
