Standing Up

It’s amazing sometimes how fast Titus goes from not being able to do something at all, to being able to do it quite well.

A week or two ago, Titus was kinda sorta standing by himself for a few seconds (followed quickly by a nosedive towards whomever was closest to him).  The next day, he hit about 16 seconds standing by himself.  We thought that was quite an improvement!  However, the next day Titus decided to let go of my hands while we were practicing standing, and he stood there in the hallway for about 44 seconds before looking up at me and tipping over backwards!

In three days, he went from a wobbly little stander to a full time stander!  Of course, now his favorite thing to do is stand by his bookshelf and pull every single book onto the floor!

9 Months

Since the blog has quickly become our historical reference, I suppose I’ll keep publishing Titus’ stats from his doctor’s appointments.

Height: 30 1/2″
Weight: 25lbs 4 oz
Head Diameter: 19 1/2″

Everything remains above the 95th percentile, and he’s been in his 18 month clothes for a while now…

Goofy

I have a bunch of goofy pictures of Titus that I thought should be shared. It seems that he’s doing more and more fun stuff–most of our pictures are of how he reacts to different things (like covering his face with bubbles or giving him a bottle of wood glue to play with).

Toys

I have another gallery up–this one of Titus playing with his toys. Well, some of the pictures are toys, one might be better described as “contraptions”, but I don’t think he minds…

Proper Sense of Importance

As the husband of a stay-at-home mom, I’m often concerned with whether or not Sarah understands how important I think her job is.

Those fears subsided tonight as I heard Sarah walk towards a crying Titus, singing her very own theme song…
