All About the Kids

What to do on the last day of summer? Play with logs and sticks in the woods. 

We spent the last week having a lot of fun doing the summery things that are sometimes hard to get to as often as we’d like.  Like camping (socks, sandles, PJs, and a sweatshirt) with feet up on a picnic table, enjoying the fire before breakfast…

Catching crayfish in puddles off of the river…  (this one was named Billy.  Bob was bigger, with only one pincer).

Climbing rocks (ok, I tipped the camera a little for this one–but it was pretty steep!).

Standing in precarious places.

Eating ice cream.

Rock hopping (Silas and I didn’t make it very far, so we threw rocks instead).

Walking, and being carried.

…and just hanging out–sometimes in close proximity to each other (maybe too close if I could hear what Titus is saying to Asher about his hat)!
