Winter Park

Had a fun time this morning, touring Winter Park with Titus and Asher.  Got to see the locker room, practice field, and weight room that the Viking use.

Even heard from Defensive Coordinator George Stewart–my scoop of the day is that he’ll be spending the day scouting  ~8 players for the upcoming draft!  Yup, we enjoyed it!

Getting Outside

Silas couldn’t stay inside this morning, even though it was below freezing outside.  He grabbed his trike and a toy construction helmet and took off pedaling–mittens, mask, coat, and boots!

Magic Martin

Asher saw a movie at school today about Martin Luther King Jr, and brought home a lot of good knowledge.  For example, who knew that Martin has a magic watch that, then wound, would allow someone to travel in time?!

I think that movie missed the mark for Asher on what the important parts were.  The good news is that he thinks MLK is pretty cool.

After a little more fishing, it turns out the movie was about some kids who time travelled back in time to see MLK!

Snow!

We decided to go for a walk today at Elm Creek, thinking we could hike around easily without any snow, maybe play at the playground, and walk back.  We made it about 100 yards before the piles of snow-machine snow stopped us in our tracks!
