Today Sarah and I have been hanging out and taking it a bit easy. This is mostly due to the fact that it feels like mid-July (record highs!), but Sarah has also had some intermittent lower backaches (this may translate to early contractions, but we are trying not to get our hopes up).
It’s funny to hear Sarah cheering the backaches on, but I think she’s thinking long-term at the moment (no more pregnancy and a new little baby to hold sounds pretty good to her right now).
Anyways, if I don’t show up at work tomorrow, you’ll know where to find me!
I am entering this blog on WEDNESDAY, MAY 31, in case you didn’t notice. (And yes, I am writing this during school, having finished a wretched Algebra final) Did you catch that date WEDNESDAY MAY 31? Sorry to rub this in, guys, but THE BABY SHOULD BE COMING TODAY. When Mom woke me up this morning she told me it was my last day of school, and promptly followed that statement to my sleepy self with “The baby’s due today!” Now I know that babies rarely come on their due date, but seriously, this guy could give us a little help here by entering the prestigious ranks of being born ON HIS DUE DATE, WEDNESDAY MAY 31. It’s okay, I can be patient. Sarah, sorry that your refrigerator countdown may soon have to be in the negative numbers – my bad! Well, that’s all for the WEDNESDAY, MAY 31 blog. . .on to my next final.
