Over Thanksgiving, Titus had his second food…sweet potatoes! Since we just threw a whole potato onto his high chair tray and told him to “dig in”…I’m not entirely sure if he enjoyed them more than the rice cereal. In fact, Sarah made me take a couple of Titus smiling “while he ate”, but really they were taken after he was all done eating! Still, there’s hope that he’ll be able to go in to his 6 month appointment (this week) having actually liked a food. Of course, if he hasn’t exactly taken to it by then, we can get some advice from the doctor.
Oh, and by the way, we actually mashed up the sweet potatoes before giving them to him (unlike the picture shows)!

That’s not the way I seen it when he had his first taste of sweet potatoes. It sure makes a for a lot better picture though. I bet Titus probably enjoyed the unmashed version better also. After this, I’m anxious to see Titus’s picture after he eats his first hamburger.
