Titus has been putting many words together into phrases these past few months. He’s also getting better at correcting his words to be the right pronunciations, so Sarah and I are already starting to miss the way he used to say things. Below is a sample of some of our favorite Titus phrases, along with their English meanings.

- Shay-sher: Shower
- Yay-yer: Water
- Lay-ler: Later
- La loo: Love you
- Mah-mah pa-lee ah-kee: Mama, please carry
- Up-dar: Strawberry
- Ach-ize: French Fries
- Gucks braid: Ducks bread (he likes to feed bread to ducks–when he isn’t eating it himself!)
- Coop nup: Scoop, dump (anything that scoops and dumps dirt, water, etc. If it’s a large and yellow piece of machinery, it’s coop nup)
- Nup: Stump (or anything that is fun to stand on)
- Cuck: Truck
- Up-cuck: Dump truck
- Ah-bige-cuck: Garbage truck
- Neen-nup: Clean up (toys, broccoli off the floor, dirt on the driveway…he’s a tidy young guy)
Family Members
- Pah-pah: Sarah’s Dad (Papa)
- Nah-nah: Sarah’s Mom (Nana)
- Ah-pah: My Dad (Grandpa)
- Ah-mah: My Mom (Grandma)
- Uah-boots: Sarah’s brother, Joshua (nicknamed “Ua”, further nicknamed “boots”)
- Bethhhhh: Sarah’s sister, Beth
- Paul-paul: My brother Paul
- Ah-sah: My sister Alyssa
- Uck-o Pe-tor: My brother Peter
- Uck-o Mai-me: My sister Amy, (Uncle Amy, translation: Auntie Amy)
- Ah-nah: Josh’s daughter Adrianna, Titus’ older cousin
- Babe-Oll-ie, or Ba-by Oll-ie: Paul and Alyssa’s new baby Oliver
- Rrrrate-ah-mah: My Grandma, Titus’ Great Grandma
- Mah-mah: Sarah
- Dah-dah, Dah-die: Me!
- Ba-by Ash-er, or Babe-Ash-er, or Babe-Ash-er-Aaaawwww, or Babe-Ash-er-crique (cry), or Babe-Ash-er-leap (sleep), or Babe-Ash-er-bah-bos (bubbles–when he blows bubbles): Titus’ little brother Asher
