So this weekend we began the infamous journey of potty training! Can I just say that this is a lot of work?! Oof, I think that potty training is a full time job in and of itself…poor Asher is learning really well to play independently.
Anyhow, aside from all that, Titus is doing really good! He has only had one peeing accident since Saturday morning. We are still trying to figure out how to convince him that doing the other half of the process in the toilet would be good but one step at a time I suppose =) Our main challenge is helping him relax enough to actually begin because the whole thing makes him a little nervous. So, that being said, if any of you wise parents out there have some potty training wisdom for us we would LOVE it!!!!
You are going to have to save the signs! I hope that each day gets a little easier and has a few more stickers – especially on the “second half”:).
My mom gave us colored marshmallows as a treat for doing the “second half”. For some reason I always remembered that. Is it because they’re like little turds? 🙂 I also love the signs!
