The problem with learning chess after checkers is that it is 20 moves into the game and both boys have successfully avoided losing a piece!

When I saw this mess and asked, “who was in the art supply cupboard?”, I didn’t expect Sarah to sheepishly raise her hand.  I guess we’re all having a fun time playing with (and not cleaning up) our new toys!
