Titus is officially allowed to start eating solid food now, though the doctor did recommend waiting 2 weeks or more. She actually mentioned food allergies as the main reason why you should wait until a baby is 5-6 months old before starting solids. I’d be interested in reading that research. Titus is, of course, big enough to start with the solid foods, but we have a bit of a family history of food allergies. That’s enough to make me want to wait till he’s 8 years old before starting with the solids, but I suppose it depends on the situation!
