I just realized that it has been a full month since I last posted…I am oh so sorry! Usually my sister keeps me accountable to more frequent posting but she has been slacking on her job lately so I will blame my delinquency on her =)
It has been quite an eventful few weeks I suppose. Titus and Asher are loving that it is summer time and that both sets of grandparents are eager to take them both for overnight stays…and Andy and I have not been too reluctant to this idea either =) Just last week Andy and I got FIVE nights of camping at Gooseberry Falls State Park while the boys stayed with Grandma and Grandpa. We had a great time with just the right mix of relaxing (reading by the lake shore), exercising (hiking to see waterfalls) and touristy thing (seeing the sights in Duluth). The boys had a great time with Grandpa & Grandma, playing on the tractor, keeping the aunts and uncles on their toes and catching up with their cousin Ollie. That’s the other fun new thing…Oliver is back from Pennsylvania and in less than a week he, and of course Alyssa & Paul, will be back to only living half hour away…YIPEE!!! We can’t wait for lots of fun cousin time and I’m personally looking forward to more opportunities to beat everyone at Settlers of Catan =)
This week we settle back into our summer routine and have lots of little appointments to get out of the ways like well child visits and the dentist. I can’t believe that it’s only a couple more weeks until the fall schedule starts up. Anyhow, I promise to give you more pictures soon (since no one really wants to just see Andy and I!) but for tonight I think it’s time to hit the hay…and by that I mean my bed…which is oh so much more comfy that the ground!
