All About the Kids

We had quite a fun and full weekend!  Friday night Andy hosted a birthday party for me and it was so very fun!!  We had friends over for dinner, games and a bonfire and it went perfectly!  Then on Saturday I had my 4th grade girls from Promiseland over for a picnic lunch, games and bonfire and it was fun to connect with them again!  We also went to the beach and park on both Saturday and Sunday this weekend with the boys and they had such a good time splashing, building sand castles, getting buried in the sand and having picnic dinners =)  They were so tired out that they both fell asleep on the way home last night at 6:30 (and that says a lot for my boys!!)!  Hope you all had a good weekend too!

I cannot tell you enough how hugely blessed I feel to have such an amazing husband and also what an incredible daddy he is as well!  If you didn’t know how much Titus and Asher love their daddy all you would have to do is observe them as Andy walks in the door after work…it’s like a circus at our house =)  They love to wrestle with him, read books with him, take walks with him, cuddle with him and so very much more.  I love watching how much Andy enjoys his Daddy role and I love watching how much the boys love to spend time with him and do everything he does.  I know that as the years go by I can trust our children to have an awesome example of what a godly man is and what a husband and daddy is and that really means so much to me!  Thanks Andy…Happy Father’s Day!

Yesterday we had a fun day watching Tyler while his Mommy (my first college roomie) and Daddy (Andy’s friend from Pillager) worked on the house they just bought.  We had a full and busy day for sure!  Titus was SO well behaved and absolutely adored being Tyler’s little care taker, holding his hand wherever we went, reading him books (when Tyler would sit still for it) and teaching him all sorts of new things to play.  Asher enjoyed someone his own age, as Tyler is only three months older, and though he was most interested in checking out his eyeballs, he also really got into playing catch and scoop & dump with the sand.  I will admit though that this experience made me just a titch glad that so far we’ve had one child at a time =)  Anyhow, have a good weekend everyone!
