Well, it seems that a decision has been made! I did a “test” with Asher when he got home yesterday and put him in the crib to see what he would do. Of course he immediately tried to get out…both by putting his leg up and over and by hoisting his tummy over the bar and swinging his body to get momentum to go head first…yikes! Needless to say, it was time to be done with the crib. So, we took the matrress and laid it on the floor (until I’m more confident he won’t roll off the bed onto the hard wood floors). He did GREAT!! He woke up once having rolled off the mattress and we found him standing in the middle of his room, quite bewildered. Then he made it until 7 this morning, which is pretty good for my kids =) Anyhow, even though the “dome” suggestion didn’t pan out, we do have a plan and it’s kind of strange to think of taking this “big boy” step with my little boy!
Our beautiful grandson looks so grown up=( I don’t want him to grow up so soon. But I am thankful that he did so well in his big boy bed. Does he like his trucks pillow case? Did Titus share his puppy, such a nice big brother!
I love these sweet pictures – his rosy cheeks are so cute!! And he does look so big. I have a great image of him standing in the middle of the room a little disoriented!
